FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM

Fire hydrant installation consists of a system of pipe work connected directly to the water supply main to provide water to every hydrant outlet and is intended to provide water for the firemen to fight a fire. The water is discharged into the fire engine form which it is then pumped and sprayed over fire.he users can attach a hose to the fire hydrant, and then open a hydrant valve to provide a powerful flow of water. Also, the users can attach this hose to a fire engine, which uses a powerful pump to boost the water pressure.

FIRE PUMPS

A fire pump usually refers to a pressure-increasing component of the water supply for fixed-place fire suppression systems such as fire sprinklers, standpipes, and foam systems. Fire pumps are powered most commonly by an electric motor or a diesel engine, or, occasionally a steam turbine. If the governing model building code requires backup power independent of the local electric power grid, a fire pump using an electric motor may utilize an emergency generator when connected via a listed transfer switch.

FIRE SPRINKLER

This is water based fire extinguishing system comprises of various types of sprinkler nozzles, pressure switches, pressure gauges, sprinkler alarm valve, etc which detect the fire at predetermined temperature and extinguishes fire automatically, giving an Alarm. Sprinkler systems are intended to either control the fire or to suppress the fire. Control mode sprinklers are intended to control the heat release rate of the fire to prevent building structure collapse, and pre-wet the surrounding combustibles to prevent fire spread.

FIRE ALARM SYSTEM

A fire alarm system has a number of devices working together to detect and warn people through visual and audio appliances when smoke, fire or other emergencies are present. These alarms may be activated automatically from smoke & heat detectors, or may also be activated via manual fire alarm activation devices such as manual call points or pull stations. Alarms can be either wall mounting sounders or horns. They can also be speaker strobes which sound an alarm, followed by a voice evacuation message which warns people inside the building. Fire alarm sounders can be set to certain frequencies and different tones.

WET RISERS & DOWN CORNERS

Wet rising mains are fitted in tall buildings due to the excessive pressures required to pump water to high levels. A Wet riser is a supply system intended to distribute water to multiple levels or compartments of a building, as a component of its fire fighting systems.Wet rising mains consist of vertical pipes similar to the dry rising main system with landing valves at each floor except the ground. The pipe system is connected to a permanent water supply normally a tank fed from the town mains.

ASPIRATING SMOKE DETECTION

An Aspirating Smoke Detection System is active smoke detection system, consisting of a central detection unit which draws air through a network of pipes to detect smoke. The sampling chamber detects the presence of smoke particles suspended in air by detecting the light scattered by them in a chamber before it is visible to the naked eye.

CONVENTIONAL SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM

Conventional Smoke Detection System comprising of smoke detectors, manual call points and control panels which detects the smoke or a fire by zone, it could be multiple areas rather than specifying a specific location.

VOICE EVACUATION SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM

Fire alarm voice evacuation system uses speakers and amplifiers to notify occupants with an alarm tone followed by a voice instead of the traditional horn or bell.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

A fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small fires. It is not intended for use on an out-of-control fire, such as one which has reached the ceiling, endangers the user or otherwise requires the expertise of a fire department. Typically, a fire extinguisher consists of a hand-held cylindrical pressure vessel containing an agent which can be discharged to extinguish a fire.

FIRE AUDIT

We conduct comprehensive fire audits at client establishments. A fire audit is an extremely important aspect of fire safety. Our Fire Safety Auditors thoroughly assess your premises, property, the fire fighting equipment, and safety apparatus. A fire audit is conducted to ascertain potential fire hazards that can put the establishment and the people in mortal danger. At the end of the audit, we provide you with a detailed assessment of our findings and offer solutions.

LIASONING AND CONSULTATION

Getting correct and timely certifications from Government offices is important part of Fire Fighting System installation and commissioning. Dhruv Fire provides Co-ordination for getting the relevant approvals from Fire Authorities and Fire Advisors from MIDC and other Govertment Authorities.
